Goa’s beauty is timeless… and @goamarriott holds a special place in my heart, as I have enjoyed many a vacation there since I was a kid. And it was so special now taking my husband there for a vacation, to make him experience the resort I enjoyed so much over the years. And as always the stay was truly memorable - the warm hospitality, exceptional quality of food and variety, the spacious rooms and the soothing sea right outside your window. Overall we quite enjoyed our bullet train experience in Japan. The day trip from Osaka to Kyoto and back which was hardly fifteen minutes one way gave us the complete training about how to scan the QR code and use our digital tickets, where the entry gates were located at Shin-Osaka station, which platforms were usually for the Nozomi trains etc. So for the short trip of Osaka to Kyoto I did not take reserved seats as we did not have any bags and returned to Osaka in the evening so it did not matter whether we got a seat or not for such a short distance. But when it came to the Osaka to Tokyo trip we did book reserved seats as we had all our bags with us and it was a long journey. It is also important to note that the bags you carry must meet certain size criteria as per their official website or it will be considered as oversized baggage and that requires a separate reservation. For the Mount Fuji view seats you have to choose seats D and E in the Ordinary Cars. Also note Mount Fuji is hardly visible for a few minutes as the train travels very fast, so keep checking your location on google maps so you dont miss out. For all the vegetarians reading this, I did not find any bento box at Osaka station however I have heard that at Tokyo station there is a Vegan Bento Box sold at Ekibenya. Thanks for watching!
